I like getting a free all-day trimet pass with my Timbers tickets. It saves $4 per day of the game.

I was looking at other clubs’ season ticket perks.

My favorite: Colorado Rapids offers $4 beer to Season Ticket holders.

I think the Rapids should add a shuttle service to downtown for Season Ticket holders, but perhaps that’s an idea for another season.

There is definitely a tendancy twowards pushing these things to the last minute. However, there is definitely the sense that there is a fair ammount of oppositon among certain politicians in Portland to the deal.

And, of course, it will be done by then. Just a lot of prima donnas here, onth both sides of the deal, as well as in the opposition to spending the money at all.

The city basically said today that a financial deal has to be in place by Febraury 15th, or the whiole deal is off.

Still no money agreed upon for the Portland renovation…soon it may be apparent that they won’t be ready for 2011 (basically they’ll have 5 months to do it all).

MLS needs to put a stake in the ground and say if construction isn’t begun in time, Portland’s entry is delayed until 2012 or whenever they can actually be ready.

Just making sure you understand that these are the prices/benefits for the 2010 Div-2 season only, not for the future 2011 season. Prices for 2011 have not been released yet. The article seems ambiguous to that fact.
