I think the LA vs. RSL is a good story for the league. The Galaxy have a host of stars compared to Real. Real has the tenacity and spirit to win at all costs. So it seems like it is going to be a good contrast in that regard.

In regards to the Sounders, they have been an overwhelming success. As you said, for sports in general and not just the MLS. I am very impressed with the way they have been handled and pleased to see the league doing so well.

A Beckham/Blanco contest will fill more seats at home though. I’m a Revs fan, but have to admit that it’s probably better for the MLS that they aren’t there. I think people are looking at them like they looked at the Bills in the NFL. The team that’s there but can never win. I’m not sure if RSL vs LA would be more pleasant, because I’d love to see a Beckham and Blanco face to face showdown.
